Hatzopoulos S.A. with further exposure across France for its range of flexible packaging solution and services, as the company looks to build upon our established presence in this market. Our exports activity in France began a decade ago and it represents today a substantial part of the company’s total turnover. We have started our operations in the country as a triplex specialist and supplier of high-barrier packaging solutions for the coffee business.
Nowadays, our activities have successfully expanded in diverse and more demanding segments and applications, such as top films for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), laser-scoring solutions for sticks packs, 3 and 4-play materials for the cosmetic business, all kinds of labels for carbonated drinks and juices, retort applications for ready meals, etc…. The loyal customer’s base of our firm in France includes large multinational companies, key prayers and famous brands in the food industry as well as SMEs, spread throughout the French regions. The significant development is expressed with the steady, yearly tonnage growth, which has reached an increase of 41% within the year 2012 (in tons of film sold).
