A. Hatzopoulos S.A. is thrilled to have once again been able to organize an Employee Voluntary Blood Donation Day for 2024.
On June 2nd, A. Hatzopoulos S.A. held the first voluntary blood donation day for 2024 at our Stadiou facilities located in Kalohori, Thessaloniki.
Organized once again in collaboration with the Ippokratio Hospital of Thessaloniki, the blood donation day saw an impressive turnout from our dedicated employees. Thanks to their generous contributions, we successfully collected a total of 50 units of blood for the company’s blood bank, which is available for use both by our employees, as well as their first-degree relatives, in cases of medical need. After donating blood, the participants received commemorative gifts, including themed canvas handbags and coasters, as a token of appreciation for their selfless acts.
The significance of blood donation cannot be overstated. A single donation can save multiple lives, providing crucial support for a multitude of potential health complications. We are immensely proud of our employees for their unwavering commitment to this cause, year after year.
