We are thrilled to announce the final destination of our journey of international trade shows in 2019: PLMA Chicago!
Private labels are increasingly gaining market share globally and they all get together at PLMA’s “World of Private Label” international trade fairs, organized twice per year, in Chicago and in Amsterdam.
The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1979, representing more than 4.500 member companies around the globe. Membership ranges from multinational corporations to small family-owned companies. Their products include food, beverages, snacks, health and beauty, household and kitchen, DIY, and personal and leisure products. PLMA presented its first trade show in the United States in 1980 and its first trade show in Europe in 1986. Today, it provides services to member manufacturers in more than 75 countries. In addition to two annual trade shows in Amsterdam and Chicago, PLMA also offers conferences, executive education programs, market research, studies and publications.
The Chicago show attracts each November the widest audience of retailers, wholesalers and other private label professionals that get together with manufacturers to discover new products and ideas. To maximize efficiency, the show floor is divided into three halls. The North Hall and Sky Hall are devoted to food, snacks and beverages while the South Hall presents health and beauty, household and general merchandise.
At the 2019 event, more than 1.300 companies from over 55 countries will exhibit their products. As packaging is an integral part of private labels, A. Hatzopoulos S.A. will be present with an own booth at the US fair this year, to exhibit solutions for a broad range of food and non-food packaging.
