A. Hatzopoulos S.A. announces that its greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This validation confirms that the company’s climate targets meet the rigorous criteria established by the initiative and are aligned with the latest climate science.

Through this process, A. Hatzopoulos S.A. has established science-based targets covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions, using 2019 as the baseline year. These include near-term targets for 2030, alongside a long-term commitment to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050.

The validation also confirms that the company monitors and manages its carbon footprint according to internationally recognized and scientifically accepted methodologies. Achieving this certification places A.
