At A. Hatzopoulos S.A., sustainability is part of who we are and we truly believe that creating a positive impact means taking action beyond the workplace.
On Saturday, 4 July 2026, our employees participated in a voluntary environmental clean-up initiative along the coastline of the Thermaic Gulf and the Axios-Loudias-Aliakmonas National Park. The goal was to collect and remove abandoned plastic mussel farming barrels and other waste from one of Northern Greece’s most important wetland ecosystems.
The initiative was organized in collaboration with New Acropolis and Ehedorou Fysis. Together, our volunteers helped remove a large number of plastic barrels and other debris, contributing to the protection of a unique natural environment.
Even under challenging summer temperatures and conditions, our team showed great enthusiasm, teamwork and a genuine willingness to make a difference. Their participation serves as a reminder that sustainability is not only a business commitment, but also something driven by both people and shared values.
