More About the WorldStar Competition
Every year since 1970, the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) has been organizing WorldStar awards recognizing the best of the best in packaging innovations from across the globe. The objective of WPO is to increase awareness on the importance of the packaging sector and to reward the packaging solutions that respond to new global challenges such as sustainability, convenience and other consumer trends.
Only products that have already received a regional packaging award are eligible to apply to the competition.
This year’s WorldStar Award Ceremony will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany on May 8, 2026 during the Interpack show.
