George Anastasiadis Appointed Sales Director for UK and Ireland.
We are happy to announce the appointment of Mr. George Anastasiadis as Sales Director for UK and Ireland, effective February 1st. As part of this new chapter, Mr. Anastasiadis has relocated to the UK, enabling closer collaboration with customers and a stronger on-the-ground presence in this key market.
Mr. Anastasiadis’ career reflects a rare combination of technical depth and commercial expertise. He began his professional journey in food science and quality control, holding a master’s degree in Quality Control and Production Processes for Food Industries. In 2016, he joined A. Hatzopoulos S.A. as a Quality Control Analyst, where he played a vital role in ensuring that our packaging solutions consistently met the highest standards for major international clients.
Building on this solid foundation, Mr. Anastasiadis transitioned into sales, taking on the role of Area Account Manager for the UK and Ireland. There, he successfully developed long-term client relationships and contributed to the growth of export sales in the region. His performance and strategic understanding led to his promotion to Export Sales Director in January 2023, with responsibility for managing key export accounts across multiple markets.
This progression from quality to sales has given Mr. Anastasiadis a unique, end-to-end understanding of packaging, from product integrity and production realities to customer needs and commercial strategy. Now, as Sales Director for UK and Ireland and based locally, he is exceptionally well positioned to support customers, develop tailored solutions, and help partners grow in an increasingly demanding packaging landscape.
Mr. Anastasiadis will also be part of the A. Hatzopoulos S.A. team exhibiting at Packaging Innovations & Empack on February 11 to 12 at the NEC in Birmingham. Visitors are invited to meet him and the rest of our team at Stand A60 to explore innovative packaging solutions and discuss how we can support their specific requirements.
