A. Hatzopoulos S.A. was honored with three awards at the 5th edition of the Manufacturing Excellence Awards that were held on Monday, 23 October 2023, at the Radisson Blu Park Hotel in Athens.

 

The awards are organized by Boussias Events, the magazine “Manufacturing” and the daily newsletter “Industry” and are held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment & Energy and the SEV as well as with the honorary support of the most important industry Associations of the country. Through the award ceremony, the Manufacturing Excellence Awards recognize and reward Greek companies that demonstrate excellence in their business activities, being trailblazers of technological innovation and advocating good sustainable development practices.

A. Hatzopoulos S.A. is extremely proud to have won the first place in three different award categories, during this year’s prominent event for the Greek manufacturing industry. More specifically, our company was recognized as WINNER in its respective industrial sector („Plastic Products„) for the overall excellence exhibited throughout its operations. The company’s second award of the night was for excellence in the „International Development“ category (GOLD), rewarding the strategic expansion of our operations way beyond our borders. Finally, our third win (GOLD) came in the „Innovative Products“ category, where the judges recognized our commitment to innovation towards sustainability in packaging, as embodied in the X-CYCLE recyclable packaging solutions we design and bring to the global market.

Mr. Argyrios Tsaknis, Financial and Administrative Director of A. Hatzopoulos S.A., received the awards on behalf of the company and emphasized that „innovation is a key driver of growth and success for us. By constantly investing in Research and Development of new products, we are designing and providing advanced flexible packaging solutions according to the latest technological developments and market trends.”

The President of the independent Evaluation Committee, Dimitris Vergados, stated that „the manufacturing industry is the central core and pillar of resilience and development of the entire Greek economy“ and for this reason he congratulated the businesses that were recognized at the event, noting that they are great examples of the Greek manufacturing industry ecosystem, and that they fill us with optimism for the future.
