A. Hatzopoulos S.A. proudly announces its achievement of the Silver rating in the prestigious and globally-trusted EcoVadis sustainability assessment for the year 2024. This accomplishment underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainability, corporate responsibility and ethical business practices, by affirming our dedication to the core ESG principles across all of our operations.
EcoVadis evaluates companies based on 21 criteria across four main themes, namely Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The rigorous assessment methodology examines various aspects of sustainability performance, including carbon emissions, waste management, labor practices anti-corruption measures and supplier engagement, to name a few.
With the EcoVadis Medals Program implementing several changes this year—including increased minimum score thresholds and the introduction of percentile thresholds for each medal level—we are thrilled to announce our ranking in the top 15% of all evaluated companies within our industry sector. Our overall score has also been improved since the last assessment, reflecting our ongoing commitment to excellence.
